BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS 12) – Seventy-six years ago on January 27, 1945, thousands of Jewish people were liberated from the Auschwitz Concentration Camp.
January 27 is now a day used to remember those who passed and those who survived the Holocaust.
A Boynton Beach man shared with CBS 12 News his experience growing up in Germany and hiding from the Nazis.
Gary Eichenwald was a young Jewish boy living in Germany when the Nazis started persecuting the Jews.
