The Minsk Ghetto was established in what is now Belarus after Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941. From 1941 to 1943, Nazi troops systematically murdered nearly 100,000 residents of the ghetto.
Frida Reizman is one of the only survivors of the Minsk Ghetto, and the leader of the Association of Former Minsk Ghetto Prisoners. In conversation with Artur Livshyts, Belarus Country Director for The Together Plan, Frida will share her remarkable story of survival and discuss her ongoing efforts to preserve and teach the history of the DONATE Minsk Ghetto. This program is presented in partnership with The Together Plan.
