The Project on Bioethics and the Holocaust: Using Testimony in Medical and Health Professions Education is proud to incorporate the Dimensions in Testimony (DiT) experience as a component of our comprehensive educational resources. DiT is an initiative by USC Shoah Foundation to record and display testimony in a way that will preserve the dialogue between Holocaust survivors and learners far into the future. The interactive biographies enable people to ask questions that prompt real-time responses from pre-recorded video interviews with Holocaust survivors.
The inclusion of this innovative resource centers on the lived experience and humanizes the discussion on ethics. We will be joined by Dr. Kori Street, Finci-Viterbi Interim Executive Director of USC Shoah Foundation and Dr. Alex Kor, Eva’s son and a practicing podiatrist who lectures about the effects of the Holocaust on medical practice using his experience as the son of Holocaust survivors.
