In 2021, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security reported that deadly attacks by racially motivated violent extremists are on the rise.
FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before Congress that violent extremists motivated by white supremacy represent a significant domestic terrorism threat to the United States. Dr. Errol Southers, Director of Homegrown Violent Extremism Studies and the Safe Communities Institute at USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, will discuss the growing and interconnected threats of antisemitism, white supremacy, and domestic terrorism in the United States.
